Sacred Spaces: A Black Joy x Wellness Year-End Circle

With support from Girl Dreamer, we warmly invite our sistars of colour to join us for this heartwarming end-of-year gathering.

Let's celebrate the spirit of Black joy, community, and wellness as we reflect on moments of joy from this past year—however big or small. This is a space to honour your journey, embrace joyful highlights and carve out time to celebrate yourself.

This special afternoon will foster rest, connection, and introspection, helping you set uplifting intentions for the upcoming new year.

We understand that our communities are often overlooked when it comes to mental well-being. The burdens and expectations that carry, and collective trauma we endure can lead to stress, anxiety, and burnout. As we embrace the winter season, it’s the perfect time to focus on rest and rejuvenation.

Step into this sacred space designed to empower and support you through the healing benefits of yoga, breath, and community. Prepare to connect with your divine feminine spirit for guidance, inspiration, and creativity, recognising that you are a blissful being created to experience unbounded joy.

What to Expect:

  • A reflective and grounding circle where we will connect with the spirit of the cacao plant, experiencing its heart-opening effects to deepen our bond with ourselves and one another.

  • Breathwork and movement to release stagnant energy and invite fresh vitality.

  • A soothing sound bath, led by guest facilitator Jaha Browne, to help you unwind and relax.

Date: Sunday, November 24th
Time: 1:30 – 3:30pm
Location: Yoga Point Brixton, 122 Dalberg Rd, London SW2 1AP

This event is exclusively for Women of Black, Brown, and Indigenous Origin.
Nourish your mind, body, and spirit alongside like-minded sisters in a safe and welcoming environment.

Feel free to bring any items that represent joyful moments from 2024—photos, drawings, personal keepsakes, or anything with special meaning to share during our circle.

Holistic practices like yoga, meditation, and sound healing have deep roots in indigenous cultures, yet we remain underrepresented in Western wellness spaces. This event is an opportunity to change that narrative and reclaim your wellbeing.

We look forward to celebrating, reflecting, and setting intentions for a new year full of joy, peace, and collective well-being.

If, for any reason, you cannot afford the full price of the event, please reach out to us regarding a concession – your presence is what matters most.

Join us for an afternoon of sisterhood and authentic connection as we create new generational patterns of healing and JOY.
